Our granddaughter turns 6 next week, so I anticipate lots of good times. :)

I know all about that dry heat. I spent a few years in Red Bluff, CA. I recall one summer when it hit 118! But it was a dry heat. :)Leshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08345657431432380804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22500980.post-910207489260649742008-07-24T10:52:00.000-06:002008-07-24T10:52:00.000-06:00I can't say I've ever read any Koontz books (there...I can't say I've ever read any Koontz books (there are so many!) but my husband has been (mostly) enjoying this series in the last few weeks. I'm so glad to "see" you! :) The blogosphere is just not the same without a post from Booklogged.

As for Odd Hours, I can't wait to read it. I had to return it to the library unread. :( My husband read it while it was here and really enjoyed it. I have loved Odd throughout, but I didn't care for some of the storyline in Brother Odd.Joyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00832231139076878401noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22500980.post-47539463338399014812008-07-24T05:24:00.000-06:002008-07-24T05:24:00.000-06:00Haven't read this one yet but enjoyed (or mostly e...Haven't read this one yet but enjoyed (or mostly enjoyed) the others. If you want to escape the humidity you should visit hot, dry Utah! I remember the humidity in NE - sitting in classes with perspiration dripping off my forehead. That was with no exertion, just sitting and I was a skinny teenager. But, things are greener in NE than they are in UT.Bookloggedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00651016653247142255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22500980.post-32726856510233931702008-07-24T00:04:00.000-06:002008-07-24T00:04:00.000-06:00Les, you really don't seem to be enjoying the Odd ...Les, you really don't seem to be enjoying the Odd series very much, with the exception of the first. I think I must just settle in for the ride when I pick up Dean Koontz. I do admit that the girl bothered me a bit. I forget her name.Bookloggedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00651016653247142255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22500980.post-91434456790727184722008-07-23T19:21:00.000-06:002008-07-23T19:21:00.000-06:00It's so good to see a new post from you! It's hot & humid here and I'm so ready to head to VA and hit the beach for a few days. Only two weeks until we go.
