Doesn't sound familiar though. Is Ramses still young. I loved him when he was young and talkative.Framedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13703547279309902320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22500980.post-11759649213943814582008-02-18T07:55:00.000-07:002008-02-18T07:55:00.000-07:00I may have to add this series to my TBR list :)I may have to add this series to my TBR list :)The Bookwormhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10217390642323530030noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22500980.post-17356102522543483592008-02-17T20:48:00.000-07:002008-02-17T20:48:00.000-07:00Kay, I think the thing I love the most about this ...Kay, I think the thing I love the most about this series is Amelia and Emerson's relationship. It's not lovey-dovey, but they are definitely in love.Bookloggedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00651016653247142255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22500980.post-4332222310484243152008-02-17T20:22:00.000-07:002008-02-17T20:22:00.000-07:00I love this series and book #1, CROCODILE ON A SAN...I love this series and book #1, CROCODILE ON A SANDBANK is one of my favorite books ever. I have read it over and over. Amelia and Emerson have a great relationship and I love to read about married couples who are mad about each other many, many years into the marriage.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22500980.post-18750286977876859272008-02-17T19:25:00.000-07:002008-02-17T19:25:00.000-07:00Stacy, I think it will be okay to read it without ...Stacy, I think it will be okay to read it without reading the others. Actually, I think it's kind of fun sometimes to read a book further along in a series and then go back and read the first ones. I did that with Anne Perry's William Monk series.

Look forward to your thoughts. Be prepared to Amelia and Emerson rather eccentric relationship. It's fun.Bookloggedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00651016653247142255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22500980.post-67806886455026141282008-02-17T18:10:00.000-07:002008-02-17T18:10:00.000-07:00Great review! HOWEVER - I had no idea it wasn't the first in a series. For some odd reason, I thought it was. Will I be able to figure out the characters and what is going on, if I have not read any of the 6 that preceded this one?

Happy Reading!!!Stacy at Exceedingly Mundanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10193142015462051142noreply@blogger.com
