I think that is a strong recommendation.jenclairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06046532245054911248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22500980.post-85678497936821836252007-10-18T05:37:00.000-06:002007-10-18T05:37:00.000-06:00Well, you've convinced me. She is on my too read list.

I've read some reviews about her stuff at GoodReads and I compared them to reviews of Chevalier...seems that the responses are similar.

Two more books to read before I will permit myself to borrow some of her books from the library.Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03418200517338216765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22500980.post-7449020361166882852007-10-17T17:33:00.000-06:002007-10-17T17:33:00.000-06:00I didn't like Girl in Hyacinth Blue when I read it...I didn't like Girl in Hyacinth Blue when I read it last month, but I still want to give Susan Vreeland a second chance. I love Renoir, so I might pick this one up in the future!Nyssanealahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01880042178848084407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22500980.post-76097775085565746532007-10-17T14:26:00.000-06:002007-10-17T14:26:00.000-06:00Luncheon of the Boating Party is one of my favorit...Luncheon of the Boating Party is one of my favorite works of Renoir's. I have the poster, but have never gotten it framed, so it just sits in a closet! He's my favorite of all the Impressionists. I'm sure I'll get to this book someday, although I didn't care for Girl in Hyacinth Blue nearly as well as Girl With the Pearl Earring.Leshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08345657431432380804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22500980.post-61692908965116173182007-10-17T08:34:00.000-06:002007-10-17T08:34:00.000-06:00I've looked at this book several times and couldn'...I've looked at this book several times and couldn't decide whether I wanted to read it or not. I haven't read anything by the author and wasn't sure if I'd like it. Your review as convinced me! I've got one Susan Vreeland book, here, so I'll read it before adding more to my wish list; but, I enjoyed your review and will bear it in mind if I ever finish up enough of my books to buy more. ;)Bookfoolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08247136634069540446noreply@blogger.com
