That's 170 classics read during Jan and Feb. Plus several read 1, 2, or 3 classics bringing the total reported to 204. I know that some of you would have read some classics without the challenge, but I would have only read one, The Woman in White. So I think all-in-all the challenge was a big success. Maybe we'll do it again next year? It was fun to host this challenge and I appreciate all those who joined in and made it sucessful. I've met some new bloggers and have enjoyed gettting to know so many of you better.

And now for the WINNERS . . .

Fourth and Fifth Place winners of the Last Line bookmark and some bookdarts are
Petunia and Bookfool.

Third Place winner of a Emerson keychain is Melanie.

Second Place winner of a miniature sheet of British Jane Eyre postage stamps is Lotus.

First Place winner of The Illustrated Jane Eyre is Alyson.

Congratulations everyone. I really hope you enjoy your prizes. I you will each send me your snail mail addresses, I will get your prizes in the mail as soon as possible. Lotus, I know you sent me your address long ago when you won another contest, but I've since deleted it. So please send it again. Thank-you.

Congratulations to everyone who completed the challenge as well as those who participated in general. I've said it before, but it's worth saying again. This challenge finally got me reading some of those classics I wanted to read but kept putting off. I'm very grateful to you, Booklogged, for giving me the inspiration to do that. I look forward to the next classics challenge!

Ditto what Literary Feline said. I've had such fun getting back into classics. And, thanks, Booklogged! When I saw the word "bookdarts" I had the incomprehensible thought, "So, what's the target?" Oh, boy. Blonde moment. :)

Woohoo! I never win anything. How exciting! Thanks again Booklogged for hosting this event. I wasn't really in it for the prize, but it is fun to win something.

Thanks for hosting this challenge, Booklogged! It was alot of fun and, like many of the others, I wouldn't have read those classics that have been collecting dust on my shelves. Thanks for giving me the push to get that done!

Thanks for being such a good host. I'm so glad I got those 5 books off my chest. My TBR pile gets (slightly) shorter.
I'm looking forward to whatever you do next.

I don't think I would have read any of my classics without this challenge. And three of them I really loved so I consider it a huge success. I already have a list for next year after reading others' reviews. You were a great host.

Congratulations to everyone, and thanks again to Booklogged for hosting this challenge. Admittedly I didn't enjoy all the books I read, but at least I now know which ones to revisit in future, and which ones not to touch with a bargepole...

What a great challenge!

Congratulations to all of you on the list, not just the winners. You're all winners, just to have met the challenge.

Wonderful, Booklogged!

congrats everyone for the fun and being able to read your reviews on the classics. I love the way there was such a variety unbrellaed under one topic. They were great great reads and prize winning in themselves.

See you all same time next year;)?

Congrats to everyone who read at least one classic.

And huge THANK YOU's to you, Booklogged. You put a ton of work into hosting this and it was a great success. I had a blast and would definitely be interested in another round next year!

Bookfool - You're gonna love those bookdarts - I picked up some at Powell's when I started my classics and love them for marking passages and also the notes section of a book to easily find it, etc.

Thank you Booklogged for sponsoring this challenge. I would have never read my chosen classics if it weren't for you and they were well overdue! I appreciate all the time and effort you put into this.

Congratulations to all the participants and an extra "woo hoo" to those that won! :)

Thank you so much for hosting this challenge. I have also enjoyed the trek back into the classics. I'd do this again without the prizes. It has been exciting just interacting with other enthusiastic readers.

Booklogged, I want to tell you I received the fabulous set of stamps yesterday, they are just wonderful, it is so exciting to be able to admire these stamps up close and to guess the identity of the different Jane Eyre characters- this lovely gift has prompted me to start a collection of memorobilia from the classics with an emphasis on leading female characters and women writers. There will be ample to choose from,I am excited! :)

I also received a fab "Last Line" bookmark in purple and gold and some copper page markers...they are just wonderful and soooo useful, thank you again, booklogged!

I'm one very excited gal as you can tell! :)
