I post my Thursday Thirteens at my other blog,
In Season. Since this week's post is about books I thought I would mention it on my reading blog. I welcome comments about mystery series that you are reading and mystery writers that you keep an eye on.

I'm currently reading To Kingdom Come by Will Thomas. It is second in a series of 3 so far. It fills me with guilt that I'm only reading number 2 since I work with the man and really should have read each of them upon date of publication. They are quite good Victorian mysteries. Well researched and not a little funny.
I mentioned a few on your In Season blog, but you know I've read mysteries for years. There are a lot of good series out there. I just did a review on "Letter From Home" by Carolyn Hart who also wrote the "Death on Demand" series. They are good. I also like Patricia Cornwell (very dark and graphic), Dianne Mott Davidson and Dana Stabenow.
Great list! There is definitely some overlap in our tastes in mystery novels. Favourites of mine that aren't already on your list include Deborah Crombie's Gemma James/Duncan Kincaid series, Joanne Dobson's Karen Pelletier series, Linda Barnes' Carlotta Carlyle series, P.J. Tracy's Monkeewrench series, and Peter Robinson's Inspector Banks series.
Adrienne, thanks for the suggestion. I like Victorian mysteries. And if there's a little humor - all the better.
Thanks, Framed. You always provide such good suggestions. I am in a mystery mood right now and since there are several in my stack that's a good thing. The Monkeewrench series sounds interesting. Hmmmm...
Kate S, I've heard good things about the Gemma James/Duncan Kincaid series, but somehow I missed getting them on my TBR list. Thanks for the reminder. I'm going to be adding the other's you suggested as well.
