I will be reading books that all have the word 'BONE' in the title. Isn't that bizarre?!

Oh, I LOVE The Bone People! It's one of my favorite books! I hope you enjoy it. It's amazing. I'll be reading The Bone Doll's Twin next year too for the Cardathon Challenge, so we can compare notes. That's hilarious how many books you have with the word bone in them!
What a random, and thus awesome, theme! I haven't read any of these, but I really want to read The Bone People.
I second Chris about The Bone People. A terrible, beautiful book that you will never forget.
What a great theme! I've always tended to pull out books with the words bone, snow, winter, or shadows in the titles. I've read 3 from your list: The Bone People, The Bone Doll's Twin, and Bone Collector and enjoyed them all. The Geritsen book sounds very interesting.
Good luck!
Coolest theme ever.
If White Bone is about elephants, I remember liking it. You can't go wrong with King or Reichs.
You could add Cloud of Bone by Bernice Morgan too, but it might be hard to get out there.
I, too, liked The Bone People a lot, but I hesitate to recommend to others because it was so different.
Oooh! I loved Bag of Bones!! And it's a great page-turner.
Isn't it funny how themes emerge? Mine's vampires. Had someone asked me if I was a fan of vampire stories, I'd have said "They're okay." And then when it came time to find a theme, there were all these vampire books on my LibraryThing TBR list!
I can't say anything about your bone books because I haven't read a single one, but I have to say The Bone Doll Twins is an intriguing title.
I would also highly recommend The Bone People, it is a wonderful book (but not an uplifting one, fyi)
There is also The Lovely Bones, have you read that one?
Nifty theme. I never knew there were so many books with "bone" in the title. I haven't read any of them, but I've got The Bone People and Bag of Bones on my Mt. TBR.
All I can say is I'd never read (again) Lovely Bones by Sebold. That has to be one of the most depressing books I have ever read. Ever. Good lucky with your challenge!
What a great theme! I absolutely loved Itani's 'Remembering the Bones'. Hope you do too.
i agree with raidergirl3: "coolest theme ever!" enjoy!
Chris, I'm glad to hear you loved The Bone People. I was a little leery, don't even know why. You've put my mind at ease.
Look forward to compare the Bone Doll's Twin. Interesting title on that one.
Eva, I feel, too, that it's a random, unpedestrian theme. Works for me.
Jenclair, thanks for sharing the ones you liked from the list. Gives me a little more confidence in my selections.
Les, Bag of Bones will only be my 2nd Stephen King book, so glad to hear you loved it.
Tiny Little Librarian,I think I only have 1 vampire series on my shelves and that's Colleen Gleason's Victoria Gardella series. If you haven't added those, you may want to check them out. Good stuff!
Nyssaneala,So I should read Bone People before winter sets in, it sounds like.
Bellezza, I really liked The Lovely Bones, but I don't feel inclined to ever reread it.
Melanie, thanks for encouraging me in regards to Remembering the Bones. Since I'll only be reading 4, I'll probably go for the ones people comment about liking.
What a fantastic theme! It is so funny that you have all these books on your shelves - the power of the unconscious??!?! *laughs* Looking forward to your reviews. I also loved The Bone People!
Have you already signed up for the challenge? If not...pop over here to do so :)
What a great idea for a challenge and I love your idea of picking several books with the same word in the title! Enjoy your bony challenge booklogged! ;)
Ooooh, interesting! I want to read The Bone People. Everyone seems to like that one.
I love the way your theme came to you. I'm going to do this challenge too, but I haven't finalized my theme yet.
That's a great way of choosing a theme. Cool theme too.
15 books with the word "Bone" in the title. That is very bizarre. But fun. Enjoy. I may have to look into this challenge along with the six or seven others I'm contemplating.
