It's Tuesday, Where Are You?

This is one of my favorite weekly features in the blog world.  It was started and is hosted by Raidergirl3 at An Adventure in Reading.  Every Tuesday she asks where we are in our reading.

This Tuesday I am still in Rome with my twin brother, Alexander.  We were taken there by Caesar Octavian after the battle in Egypt that killed our father, Marc Antony.  Our mother, Cleopatra, took her own life before she could be taken captive.  We've been in Rome for over 2 years where we live with Octavian's sister Octavia.
                             (Cleopatra's Daughter by Michelle Moran)

Where is your reading taking you?

I'm so behind the times - I just finished Nefertiti, Michelle Moran's first novel. This one looks good too!

I'm glad you enjoy this feature.

I'm in a small town where the most popular kids just might be zombies...

I'm in District 12 of Panem, a future possibility for America. Panem is a poignant reminder that, despite things to grumble about, we still have it very nice and things could get a lot worse. Panem, by-the-way is a creation of Suzanne Collins in her books Hunger Games and Catching Fire. I'm currently reading the latter.

I know it's already Sunday... but on Tuesday I was in Ipswich, MA with Adele Crockett Robertson working in her peach and apple orchards (The Orchard: A Memoir)... now I'm waiting with the Saints to go through the Hole in the Rock to get to our new settlement (Undaunted by Gerald Lund).
