I finished the Banned Book Challenge sponsored by Elaine at Farenheit 451. Like with the other challenges, I completed several books that have been waiting for ages to be read. It thrills me to pull some from the bottom of my book pile out - many neglected and almost forgot.Here's the list of completed banned books. Click on the title to go to my review.

Congrats on this one too! I really enjoyed this challenge too. Have one left to read. The only one I didn't like that I read was Grendel...just couldn't get into it. Ah well, can't like em all.
I just can't believe some of the books that have been banned. It's so ridiculous.

Well done! I'm still working on a couple for this challenge and hopefully I'll be able to finish them before the end of the month.

I loved Prayer for Owne Meanie, and several of the others. I was a little surprised to see Catcher In the Rye missing from this list.
While I do think most of these books are very worth reading, I can't help but wonder what is it about having something forbidden that supercharges our curiosity, making it all the more attractive to us?
Belladonna, there are many, many more banned/challenged books than the ones I read. These are just the ones I choice for the challenge.
